Cathy joined the firm in 1983 as a legal secretary and completed her studies at Macquarie University in 1997 to become a licensed conveyancer.
Cathy handles a variety of property matters in conjunction with Kim Mathieson, another licensed conveyancer of the firm. These include drafting and negotiating property contracts in respect to Torrens Titles, Strata Title, Old System, Qualified and Limited title properties.
Cathy is also able to advise on off the plan purchases, refinances and subdivisions.At MCW Lawyers Cathy enjoys the challenge of working in a busy legal practice and takes pride in her attention to detail and commitment to deadlines which ensure the transactions run as smoothly as possible.
Cathy’s experience and knowledge of this area of law enables her to provide accurate and up to date advice and understand the potential issues that can arise for first home buyers, investors and commercial property clients.
